A Boutique Condo in Brooklyn

Located in the trendy Williamsburg neighborhood, this boutique condo, with its elegant finishes and thoughtful layouts, reflected the living trends of NYC in the recent decade.

Inspired by Modernist design, the apartment units were above, and the entry, parking, and utilities are on the ground floor. With a façade design based on a modernist grid proportionally laid out on rectangle panels spanning its three-story height, the building features a two-bedroom penthouse with a 360-degree view of the neighborhood, including the Manhattan cityscape. The windows have black frames arranged in a group of three.  The balcony railing is made of glass to allow occupants to feel a seamlessly extended view to the outside through the full height of the glass doors.

Since Williamsburg is known for its industrial warehouses, the building’s interior carries an industrial touch where the selected bathroom tiles have the rusticated brick and concrete appearances. Although individual apartments have rooms, they feel like a spacious industrial loft.

Changes in social structure affected the demands of dwelling units across the city. While studios were not too favorable five years ago, they were considered something that would harm resale value, but they have become very sought after today. They are among the first units to be sold due to the increased demand generated by young single professionals who chose to call NYC their home and had in common the preference for living spaces smaller than a one-bedroom. It is the main reason why there are studios, two- and three-bedroom, but no one-bedroom in this condo. Seven out of ten units have outdoor spaces. The building uses environmentally friendly materials with ARCO dark gray veneer bricks and Geoboard from Ameriform on the exterior.  The Interior kitchen counter is made of recycled quartz material.
